The AGO label will specify standby plans for 30 products during a 10-year plan, from 2002-2012. Each plan is geared towards a 1-Watt standby plan that consists of short-term goals along the way (see the Product Profiles page). The government will make the standard mandatory if it becomes necessary and may place non-compliance warning labels on products below the standard.

Where P_no is the Nameplate Output Power of the unit under test. L_n refers to the natural logarithm.
