Financial Manager

Location: Northern California

Responsibilities:
  • Establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information; managing staff.
  • Develop and implement goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, and accounting.
  • Achieve financial and operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; monitoring revenue and expenses; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
  • Meet accounting and financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Coordinate preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
  • Work with company CPA on tax appliance. Manage staff to accomplish related financial tasks.
Requirements:
  • BS in Finance or Accounting and two (2) years experience in accounting finance or related fields developing and tracking budgets (revenue and expenses), forecast, tax compliance, auditing, accounting, data analysis, and reporting.
